Gosh I hope this weekend I can catch one!
Marc Jacobs may even be in one of the black cabs introducing his new Daisy eau de parfum, with tipped seats playfully decorated in daisy fields. As well as a bouquet of Marc Jacobs Daisy lollipops will be given to the fares!
Andre Coetzee, General Manager, Taxi Media said: “Coty Prestige came to us wanting to develop the first ever black cab daisy chain to celebrate the anniversary of their Daisy Marc Jacobs fragrance. Using pioneering 3D lenticular technology; we have worked with Coty Prestige to create a field full of daisies to showcase the new Daisy Marc Jacobs eau de parfum on tip seats inside the taxis as well. We are really excited to work with Coty Prestige and its advertising agency OMD UK to develop this campaign and really push the boundries of taxi advertising.”
Pamela Routley, Brand Manager Coty Prestige added “We wanted consumers to be able to interact with the playfulness of Daisy Marc Jacobs in a novel and fun way and London’s iconic black cabs are perfect for communicating the key brand messages.”
Daisy opens with the luscious natural freshness of wild strawberry, violet leaves and ruby red grapefruit. The heart of gardenia, violet petals and jasmine petals is velvety and luminous – a modern vintage. musk, vanilla infusion and white woods round out the balance of notes with smooth softness and warm sensuality.

Colette In Paris for Everything Cool, Kitsch, and on the Verge Re-Opens
Colette just got a complete makeover grace a Japanese interior designer Masamichi Katayama, aka Wonderwall. It kinda looks the same yet more cluttered. Similar to the Supreme skateboard shop in NYC, with everything Nike, Reebok, Bathing Ape and Ice Cream brands, and everything kitsch on the first floor from Hello Kitty stylus pens, to the latest in fab Magazines. The Resto is still in the ground floor, and everything designer from House of Holland, Marc, and everyone in between on the 2nd floor.
The stores now has white walls with glass, steel and black leather incorporated into its Neo new atmosphere, with great graphics to add that urban feel to the walls. Best thing is the warm staff is still there, who bring cool to Paris multicultural and trendy to the world of Colette! Gap plans to open a pop- up -shop at the everything cool, kitsch and on the verge at Colette Fall 08.
Meeting Marc Jacobs
Grazia June 30, 2008 has Marc Jacobs “flying into London with the artist Richard Prince to host a very exclusive dinner celebrating the success of the Louis Vuitton/Richard Prince bag collection for this summer.” I think they don’t know us native New Yorkers, we take trains it’s faster than flying. On my way to London on Tues I ran into Mr. Jacobs on the Eurostar with his asst. Emma
It was lovely to meet him and I just could not resist from introducing myself. He was so nice, which I did not expect. Talk about down to earth and Cool! We both were able to get our New York -ees out and compare Paris to New York. We agreed way different, but Paris is prettier than New York. I was very impressed to hear that he remembered my name as we got off the Eurostar and went our different ways. It made my day, and gave me the inspiration I needed for my meetings a head of me. Stay sweet Marc and Aries Rule!!! We both agreed on that point. Rock on Marc!!!
