Men In Hats

with one comment

We found the StyleCartel godfather at the Antonio Miro show. I have appreciations for hats. I come from a family of women who always wore hats and made hats. Gotta love a man in a hat like that. What do you think leave a comment?

La Belle de Belleville

without comments

This is another beauty we spotted in Belleville. Proof that it’s not what you wear it’s how you wear it. I love her style chic, but not to over the top, just enough mint green with great accessories. She is empowering and shows any shape or size you can look good ‘We are Women Hear Us Roar!”

2eme Fashion Drama Queen

with one comment

Spotted yesterday in Belleville, Paris France another Fashion Drama Queen. While spending the gorgeous afternoon with my girls in Belleville shopping for the Best ‘Hippie Chic’ knock offs. We spotted this Fashion Drama Queen. We were being “Mean Girls” I suppose, but we could not help it!  We just wondered  how much Pink  is too much Pink?  Big up to our sister for lovin herself some pink, and having her own fashion sense.

Please leave you comments on: How much Pink is too much Pink?

Masatomo Men’s S/S 09 Paris

without comments

I am a bit confused about this line Masatomo? The press release for the show states: “Discover MASATOMO’S S/S 09 collection, with it’s “Palace Holiday” casual style playing on masculine-feminine opposition.” I think the person who wrote that copied it from a trend report. LOL. I did not see that anywhere take a look for youself.  I saw more 80’s with the new millennium mixed in. Palace Holiday? Red Gloves and snake skin?  Looked like a throw back to a Cameo video “It’s like Candy.”

What was interesting was the python numbers emphasized in 2 colours: a dark green called “shady grade” in Japan reminiscent of the deepest forests and the antique pearled gold python is elegantly retro. All the pieces were accessorised with ties, bow ties, scarves fingerless gloves and great red shoes.

The press release I think did not hit the target of the show either. There were a lot of spelling mistakes, and they kept calling the shirts for men blouson! Men don’t wear blouson’s they wear shirts. I hope some one will point this out to System D and tell the Presse Agent in charge that his out-fit for the day was also off. Sorry dude, a Pink T-shirt, with a Pink motorcycle jacket, next to your pink skin and red hair just don’t go. This is fashion baby! Wish I had gotten a picture of that!
